Adam Sandler Movie Illustrations

From Big Daddy to Uncut Gems, I’ve probably watched Adam Sandler movies at least 5x in my life. Something about his movies, despite being goofy, all feel good. There was a time in my life when I couldn’t sleep without Mr.Deeds playing.

Watching Longfellow Deeds, I saw how he wears that Deeds Pizza shirt, and thought to myself, I could probably make one! And so I made an illustration like I usually do, only more visual and flyer-like. I’d probably make one exactly the same for myself once this lockdown is over.

Thinking I can do this for most of his movies, I decided to create two more. An updated Mud Dogs mascot illustration based on The Waterboy in 1998, and a portrait based on the film by the Safdie Brothers, Uncut Gems.

SCLSU Mud Dogs FTW!

Check them all out in a Portfolio Entry I did. Like the Guardian Portraits, I’ll probably load this all up once I manage to finish up more.

I’ve heard he visits The Park’s Finest in California, and thought I would see him there when I visited. Tough luck. Nevertheless, I hope I can meet the guy soon! Always a fan.

Hey Adam, if you’re reading, hit me up!
